What you will learn
Inequalities are mathematical expressions involving the symbols > (greater than), < (less than), ≥ (greater than or equal), and ≤ (less than or equal). Solving an inequality means finding a range or an unknown value that can satisfy the inequality. In this topic, the learners are able to understand what inequality is and solve linear, compound, quadratic, and rational inequalities. In addition, the learners are also able to solve inequalities as well as equations that contain absolute values.
