About this Module
What you will learn
This MC focuses on the frequency effects to the performance of operational amplifier (op-amp) circuits. The frequency response of the open-loop gain will be studied along with its relationship to the closed-loop gain counterpart. Circuit stability will be determined using Bode plot technique. Another important frequency-dependent parameter that will be studied is slew rate and its effects on op-amp applications. The second part of this MC is dedicated to a popular op-amp integrated circuit applications namely, active filters. It covers design and analysis of basic low pass, high-pass, bandpass and bandstop filters using Butterworth analogue filter technique.
