The tail of an arrow represents the start of an activity and the head of an arrow represents the completion of an activity.

Planning technique developed for repetitive construction works e.g. house building, Jetties, pylons, etc.
The method is based on establishing a required delivery program for the completed unit and determining the gangs of labour resources to meet the delivery schedule
