What you will learn
This micro-credential introduces accounting students with no legal background to the fundamental principles of Agency Law, a key topic within Business/Commercial Law. It introduces fundamental concepts of Agency Law in business and commercial contexts through a creative and engaging learning approach that makes legal concepts more understandable, interesting, and easier to retain. This course/module is based on the “View It, Visualize It, Verify It” (3V) Framework, which helps students: I. Understand concepts through clear explanations. II. Organise knowledge using creative tools. III. Reinforce memory through creative learning techniques. Learning activities include visual and creative approaches such as: I. Mnemonic strategies. II. Mind mapping and diagrams. III. Simple illustrations. IV. Creative and rhythm-based learning activities, such as short legal chants. This approach makes learning law more structured and engaging while supporting the understanding and retention of key legal principles. These fundamental principles of Agency Law are important, as future professionals may encounter situations where their actions create legal obligations or liabilities for the organisations they represent.
