About this Module

What you will learn

This micro-credential teaches accounting students with no legal background. It introduces fundamental concepts of agency law in business and commercial contexts through a creative and engaging learning approach that makes legal topics more interesting and memorable. This course/module is based on the "View It, Visualize It, Verify It" (3V) framework, which helps students: i) understand concept through clear explanations ii) Organise knowledge using creative tools iii) Reinforce memory through creative learning techniques. Learning activities include visual approaches such as: i) mnemonic strategies, ii) mind mapping and diagrams, iii) simple illustrations, iv) creative learning and rhythm-based activities such as short legal chants. This approach makes learning law more structured, engaging, and easier to remember and these concepts are essential as future professionals could encounter situations where their activities create legal obligations or liabilities for the organizations they represent. Mastery of Agency Law enables students to identify duties, minimise potential legal risk, and make appropriate professional decisions.
