Course Description

Law has become an increasingly important subject in any professional course. Builders need to have a sound knowledge of law related to construction which covers the Law of Contract and Agency and Tort and Land Law. The objective of this course is to introduce to students the construction law in general that forms a background knowledge of these works in construction.

Course Learning Outcomes

1 ) Determine fundamentals of law (Contract, Tort, Land Law and Law of Agency) to simulate legal position of parties in construction industry
2 ) Explain in writing legal position of parties in construction clearly and effectively
3 ) Demonstrate ethics and professionalism in carrying out given task
