Course Description
This course is a fundamental public speaking, emphasising the practical skill of public speaking. Students learn to prepare and deliver effective oral presentations, emphasising idea building, research for topics, audience analysis and general communication. In addition, the course introduces essential elements of successful presentations, including effective listening, types of speech, use of visual aids, research and evidence, ethical considerations, and techniques for building confidence in public speaking. Its goal is to prepare students for success in public speaking and to be professional and responsible communicators who can design and deliver exciting speech presentations. These public speaking skills can support the student’s future careers.
