Course Description

This MOOC designed for food enthusiasts, culinary students, and anyone passionate about discovering the rich tapestry of Malaysian flavors, this course offers a deep dive into the unique and diverse culinary landscape of Malaysia.  Syllabus

1.1 Understanding Malaysian Cuisine.
1.2 Understand the use of fresh and dry, herbs and spices in Malaysian cuisine.
1.3 Explain the function of equipment and utensils in Malaysian food preparation.
1.4 Able to write standard recipe Malaysian cuisine using a metric system.

1.1 Identify common Malaysian food produce in the kitchen.
1.2 Prepare Malaysian food dishes using an appropriate cooking method.
1.3 Organize mise en place and perform the duty of cooking.
1.4 Display the knowledge for art of food plating & presentation (ala carte).
1.5 Practice proper safety and hygiene based on the kitchen standard.
