This course is an introduction to the field of library and information science and records management. Covers all aspects from historical perspective to the digital age of library and information management development in Malaysia. Information management concerns a cycle of organizational activity: the acquisition of information from one or more sources, the custodianship and the distribution of that information to those who need it, and its ultimate disposal through archiving or deletion. This course offers a self-learning, owning your learning by own pace to ensure professional development is enrich through the learning process.
