Lectures are delivered by qualified lecturers, embedded with related videos & providing a self assessment package. Main objective: to promote understanding of basic laboratory techniques in diagnosis of fungal infection. Learning Outcomes: Introduces the fields of medical mycology, focusing on medically important fungi. It covers the principle and indication of laboratory techniques used in diagnosis of fungal infection. It involves performing basic laboratory techniques used in the processing of specimens, cultivation and identification of fungi. It emphasises on identification of fungi with relevant clinical findings It promotes student centred- learning by having a self-assessment package.
