About this Course

Course Description

Welcome to the Evidence-based Practice course. This course introduces learners to finding and critically appraising evidence in clinical practice. By the end of this MOOC course, learners also learn to integrate the best research evidence with clinical expertise, clinical reasoning, and patient values and use clinical guidelines as a resource for evidence-based physiotherapy. This MOOC platform applies futuristic and flexible elements. Learning becomes interactive, and knowledge or new ideas can be shared quickly among the tutors and learners. In addition, transferring skills from joining this MOOC will enhance learners' communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. For 14 weeks, you will complete around 2 hours of work each week upon passing the final test and completing all required learning activities.

1 ) Critically appraise research evidence, including the applicability, quality and result of research study and its contribution to physiotherapy clinical decision making
2 ) Justify the relationship among evidence, clinical judgment and expertise, and patient or client preferences and values for determining a plan of care
3 ) Discuss the principles and steps of evidence-based practice related to physiotherapy field
