About this Course
The course explores the fundamentals of knowledge management (KM) systematically. It covers the emergence and foundation of KM. It examines its critical components (K-identification, K-acquisition, K-sharing, K-Utilization and K-creation), tools, learning culture, knowledge assets and the people involved. It also discusses the basic tenets of implementing KM and KM systems in an organisation and its issues and challenges. Case studies of successful KM implementation will envisage the conceptual framework of KM practised in public and private organisations.

1) Discuss various concepts and components of knowledge management in the public and private sectors
2) Present verbally the problems and challenges of knowledge management in the public and private sectors
3) Demonstrate personal skills in producing a structured and evidence-based report with relevant content and research quality
