About this Course
This course is designed to introduce the students with the concepts of accounting and financial management in the public sector. It also aims to expose the students with the current practices of public sector accounting, together with the underlying legal provision, rules and procedures.
Course Learning Outcomes
2) Evaluate issues related to budgeting system, financial accounting system, financial reporting, audit and accountability in relation to public sector organisations in Malaysia.
3) Explain current issues related to public sector accounting in Malaysia
1) Demonstrate vote accounting in accordance with applicable Approved Accounting Standard in relation to public sector organisations in Malaysia.
