About this Course

This MOOC is recommended as a step to learn Basic Periodontology for dental students and general dental practitioners. As a fundamental course in periodontology, you will learn the basics of periodontology from instruments used in the screening process, periodontal charting, root surface debridement, hand and finger rest used and last but not least the suitable forces used during root surface debridement. A series of demonstrations regarding use of hand instrumentation and ultrasonic scaler are incorporated into this MOOC. In addition, the instructors are also easily approachable and will gladly clear up any issues.
