Statics and dynamics are subdivision of mechanics of rigid bodies. Statics deals with bodies at rest while dynamics deals with bodies in motion. Course includes mechanics of particles and rigid bodies, section properties, translation and angular motion, energy and momentum principles, and vibrations.
