About this Course

This course will introduce participants to the basic concepts of two main topics; Gamification and Game-Based Learning (GBL). The scope of the syllabus covers theories relevant to development and application of Gamification and GBL in Higher Education teaching and learning context. Participants will be exposed to fundamental concepts, principles, limitations of the two main topics. Furthermore, the course will introduce improvement of instructional design by incorporating these concepts.
