About this Course

This course serves as a philosophical ground in understanding the development of human and communication theories. Students will be exposed to the concepts and types of human and mass communication theories in terms of their definitions, functions, traditions, relation with researchers, and ethical considerations. It also designs to project criticisms integrated with understanding, explaining, predicting, and control any related phenomena that take place in our everyday lives. Students will be prepared to appraise theories in researchers’ activities and also to embrace the importance of theories in relation to the media industries.
