About this Course

Hello and salam sejahtera! I am Dr Muzlia or fondly known as Dr Lia. I will be teaching this course, and I am not IT savvy! So please forgive my lack of IT creativity,focus more on the contents and skills of counselling, which I am excited to share with you throughout the semester. Let's begin the journey of knowing more about counselling, and how it can help you to help others. This course is designed to increase students’ awareness of the field of counselling, including its evolution, processes, theories, and specialties. This course offers a broad survey of the field of counseling, including an introduction to the foundational skills and processes involved in counseling relationships. Students will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of counseling skills and processes through tests, role play and case studies.
