About this Course

This studio course is an introduction to the relief type of printmaking. The type of relief print is linocut using key image and reduction method of coloring. Students will learn through visual research and artwork execution. The technique of printmaking incorporates drawing skills to solve the problem of light and form in creating the two-dimension (2-D) artwork through the understanding of formal design.

A2 : It is depending on the medium and material that you going to choose/buy. There are variety of prize depending on brand, type and size/quantity of medium and material sell at the arts store. Basically, for this course project, you may spend about RM150 - RM200. But don't worry, some of the material still can be used for your future relief projects.
