About this Course

This course exposes students to essential concepts of mobile application programming that enable mobile applications for managing online information via mobile devices. It applies android or iOS application development in building a secure mobile application for information storage, retrieval and interactive access of information. Students will explore mobile apps in various areas such as games, SMS, location-aware, data-intensive, and web-enabled. It also introduces mobile application developments using integrated development environment (IDE). At the end of the course students are required to create mobile application suitable for institutional use.
