About this Course

This course discusses the philosophy of consumerism in Islam covering the concepts of consumer, consumer ethics and the behavior of consumption in Islam. In addition, the course also discussed about the do’s and dont’s in Islamic consumerism. Students are also exposed to the concept of hisbah as the regulatory institution to protect the consumer right.
