About this Course

This course will provide a practical approach to conveyancing relevant to current legal practice. The primary aim of this subject is to expose students with the skill of taking instruction from clients, drafting of Sale and Purchase Agreement, Banking Documents, Leases and Tenancy Agreement. Another branch of this course is the preparation of will and documents for the application of Letters of Administration and Grant of Probate. The students will be exposed to the advocacy skills required during the proceeding for the application of Letters of Administration and Grant of Probate. The next branch of this course is the preparation of documents in family matters. The students are allocated roles as solicitors acting for various `clients?. Matters are conducted as they would be in practice. By the end of the course students would have built up file(s), drafting and advocacy skills in much the same way as they would in practice. This course is devoted to imparting practical skills. This course also promotes the development of the critical thinking & problem-solving skills, communication skills and ethics & moral professionalism in the area of non-contentious legal matters.
