The course introduces the students to the principles of Islamic Family Law and the application of the law to various marital problems. The course also analyse the different opinions among the various schools of law in Islam and the various provisions of Islamic Family Law statutes in Malaysia and other Muslim countries. This course also promotes the development for critical thinking and problem-solving skills, values, ethics and moral professionalism in the area of family law.
