About this Course

The purpose of this course is to provide educators with conceptual knowledge of inferential statistics such as testing of mean, correlation, regression analysis and chi square to assist them in acquiring skills and techniques for using, understanding and interpreting statistical procedures appropriate in a given situation. It is designed to prepare educators to explain and teach statistics in learning institutions. Students will be given an opportunity to exercise their acquired skills on explanation of knowledge on inferential statistics through a project based on a topic agreed upon by the course instructor.
