This course is intended to introduce the student to the field of medical imaging and
radiographer's role in health care. It will assist the student to understand the essence of
medico legal, patient preparations, patient management, communication and organizational
skills in radiography procedures. Introduction to diagnostic radiography practices with
emphasis on basic concept of patient care and nursing skills, management of infection as well
as unconscious patient, with regards to radiographies practices will also be highlighted.
