About this Course

The sports industry has grown to be among the largest contributor to Malaysia’s economic development. As the industry grows, there is an added emphasis on the economic aspects of the sport. Students will review the basic of economics and relate them to sport organisations. Also, important current economic issues will be discussed as they relate to professional sport, collegiate athletics and the Olympics. Students will understand sport economic principles as they fit into the national economy and understand that external influences shape sports economics. Lastly, emphasis will be placed on the economics and business aspects of sport facility construction
