About this Course

This course is the first part of the Foundation Level of the Japanese Language programme. Students taking this course are exposed to the vocabulary, grammar and Japanese phrases as well as basic conversational Japanese in daily situational contexts. Cultural elements are also incorporated in the course. Emphasis is given to consolidating the four communication skills namely listening, speaking, reading and writing. The course aims to equip students with the ability to communicate using simple Japanese phrases relevant to foundation level.
