INTRODUCTION TO THE WORLD OF MICROBIOLOGY
The aim of this course is towards an understanding the basic principles of microbiology including history, characteristic, classification and importance of microorganisms.
    FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICS I
A course consist of short modules of essential lessons in fundamentals of physics. Will cover the topics of Units, Mechanics, Dynamics, Matter and Thermodynamics.
    ELECTRONICS 1
This course introduces the theories of semiconductor materials followed by the constructions, operating concepts and characteristics of electronic devices such as a diode, Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT) and Field Effect Transistor (FET). The behavior of these devices under DC and AC conditions are studied for amplification purposes. Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be able to analyze simple electronic circuits, have a basic understanding of the solid-state concepts and developing their ability to predict the behavior of common electronic devices and circuits.
    FUNDAMENTAL OF ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS
This course is about the basics of electrical circuits. It starts with the basic knowledge of the current up to the electrical circuit solution method. Electrical circuit solutions start from Ohm's law, Kirchoff's law, and circuit analysis techniques. This course will emphasize the DC resistive circuit. At the end of the course, students will be able to discuss basic concepts, laws, and methods for solving resistive circuits in direct and alternating currents, apply theorems for solving resistive circuits in direct currents, and construct basic electrical circuits using simulation software and/or electronic components. There is no Pre-Requisite for this course.
    VARIABLE IN C++
Explanation on the usage of variables in programming, how to declare variables , where and how to use variables in programming.
    ANTENNA DESIGN AND ANALYSIS
This subject aims to furnish a detailed treatment of microwave antennas, which form the backbone of transmission systems. The emphasis will be more towards design rather than analysis.
ANIMATION AND VIDEOS IN MS POWER POINT 365
Learning The Features Of Animation And Creating Videos Using Ms Power Point 365 For The Purpose Of Making Presentation And Preparation Of Notes In An Interactive Ways Specifically For Students And Academicians.
    ALTERNATIVE WATER RESOURCES
This module will focus on the types of alternative water resources that are available on earth for example rainwater harvesting, groundwater, stormwater harvesting, reclaimed wastewater, graywater, and desalination. It also covers the sources of pollution and challenges in the implementation of alternative water resources. Participants are also provided with interesting animation videos for additional material to enhance their knowledge of this module. This module is implemented in the theoretical method. At the end of the module, participants are exposed to interactive activities and formative as well as summative assessments. The objectives of this module are 1. To provide an online course aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the Ufuture platform. 2. To promote an active self-direct learning process on fundamental knowledge of various types of alternative water resources. 3. To support active involvement and interactions among students, lecturers, and course instructors.
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN IN ENGINEERING: TOOL APPLICATION
This Micro Credential (MC) introduce the conceptual design in engineering. This MC have contains four module; Module 1: Introduction to Engineering Design, Module 2: Problem Definition and Identification, Module 3: Concept Generation and Module 4: Concept Evaluation and Section. Among the activities in this MC, the students will learn to identify the problem and determine the need for a product through the used of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. As a result, the student later produces the Product Design Specification (PDS) documents, which are very important in the concept generation and selection steps. From PDS, the student will produce several concepts and finally choose the best concept, which later will be used as the final concept in the next design process, both by using the Morphological Method and Pugh's Method.
    OVERVIEW OF SOCIAL SECURITY
This course will define, describe and analyze important concepts in social security pensions and how they operate. Social security has a powerful impact at all levels of society. It provides workers and their families with access to health care and with protection against loss of income, whether it is for short periods of unemployment or sickness or maternity or for a longer time due to invalidity or employment injury. It provides older people with income security in their retirement years. Children benefit from social security programmes designed to help their families cope with the cost of education. For employers and enterprises, social security helps maintain stable labour relations and a productive workforce. And social security can contribute to social cohesion and to a country’s overall growth and development by bolstering living standards, cushioning the effects of structural and technological change on people and thereby providing the basis for a more positive approach toward globalization.
    TEXTILES IN PERSPECTIVES
Textiles in Perspectives is an introductory module intended for those who are interested in academic enrichment in textiles, fashion, and the apparel industry. The module addresses the basic knowledge and understanding on the basic structures of textile materials and the critical performances of textile fabrics. The module also includes the study of personal, academic, and career success; careers in the textile, apparel and the fashion industry; factors influencing the merchandising and selection of fashion, textile, and apparel goods and their properties, design, and production; and consumer skills. The module is suitable for those planning a career in the retail merchandising, interior design, apparel and fabric design, entrepreneurship, or positions linked to the production and distribution of fibers, yarns and fabrics.
    WOOD TRADE & MARKET VIEW
Asia is the primary export market for Malaysian timber products, particularly Japan (plywood is the most exported product), India, Thailand, and China (logs, sawnwood, and plywood). The United States and the European Union are also significant markets for Malaysian plywood, sawnwood, and furniture exports. Peninsular Malaysia primarily supplies the U.S. and European markets (Hoare, 2015). Let's gain an understanding of the Malaysian wood industry and market.
    LEAN TECHNOLOGY
This class is designed to introduce students to the concepts and techniques of lean technology in manufacturing. Lean manufacturing focuses on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the process of conversion from raw resources to finished products. Lean manufacturing also stresses the importance of efficient and effective use of production resources. This includes reducing lead time, production time and the elimination of waste of production resources, primarily by reducing non-value-added activities. The course covers on planning, evaluation, deployment, and integration of lean manufacturing theory and methods. Employers are increasingly looking for candidates trained in process technology. This course will benefit the industry when skilled and learned students extend their experience into their working environment.
E-COMMERCE AND ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS : PRINCIPLES, ISSUES AND CHALLENGE
